  2. INSTALLATION
  3. ------------
  4. In this version of Saratoga Raceway (v3.6) there is an INSTALL program
  5. included, that will make the installation and configuration of this
  6. program simpler than doing it manually. Some revision of Files may be
  7. necessary after the install, depending on your set-up, but it will be
  8. an excellent place to start. We recommend using INSTALL.EXE first, and 
  9. if there are any modifications necessary, perform them afterward. INSTALL
  10. is included in this package. If for any reason INSTALL does not work well
  11. on your system, then simply move the files to the assigned directory as 
  12. before, and follow by setting up the .CFG and .BAT files manually.

  15. NOTE: Two additional archives are included in this package. They are:

  17. DSADIA.ZIP
  18. ARTWORK.ZIP
  19. -----------
  20. Neither of these archives contain files necessary to run or to set up
  21. Saratoga Raceway. They are supplemental materials, each with internal
  22. documentation of it's own. We suggest removing them to another directory,
  23. de-archiving them and examining the contents there. Hopefully you will
  24. find these additional materials and utilities useful for your BBS.

  26. Additional supplemental files and utilities are included with the Registered 
  27. version of Saratoga Raceway 3.6. DOORGRAF.ZIP is included in the Registered
  28. package.. This file is also not required to run the DOOR, but it is a very
  29. useful and graphically appealing Bulletin and NewsFile generator to rate the
  30. various Doors on your system for activity. We trust your UltraSoft game(s)
  31. will be among the top runners, as they are on many other BBS Systems...

  33. Also included in the Registered package is a utility called WATCHER, which
  34. keeps a running log of each caller who enters any DOOR by date and time, and
  35. is used by the DOORGRAF graph generator System..
